Our consulting services are provided at NO COST (A small fee for most seminars and workshops may apply.) and include, the following:

One-On-One Consulting with real-time practicing consultants, who have either owned or own their businesses. The range of expertise includes but is not limited to: business start up and/or acquisition, computer applications and e-Commerce, financial analysis and cost control, government procurement, marketing and sales, accounting and record keeping, human resources and business planning and expansion.

Business Development Training- the SBDC's "Business Orientation" seminar gives you basic information on the skills and money you'll need to launch a business venture. We also offer Business Enterprise Training Programs, Lenders Workshops, and IRS Tax Workshops. Some programs are provided in Spanish.

We also have a number of standard forms you will need for your business. For a start, you may need to apply for a fictitious name for your business. You can click here to download a Fictitious Name Statement for the County of San Diego.
