MiraCosta Community College offers
programs that may help you meet your goals. If your goal
is to earn a bachelor's degree, you can take freshman-and
sophomore-level courses that then transfer to a four-year
university. If your goal is to gain job training to qualify
you for an entry-level position, consider enrolling in one
of MiraCosta's certificate programs. The programs range
from one semester to two years and include preparation for
careers in marketing, multimedia technology, licensed vocational
nursing, biotechnology, childcare, horticulture, and dozens
more. If your goal is to work toward an associate in arts

The Small Business Development & International Trade
Center provides a variety of services to clients in San
Diego and Imperial counties. Their services are designed
to assist small business owners expand their operation's

The Borrego Springs Chamber of Commerce. Located

Economic
Development:
The San Diego County Office of Trade and Business Development
was established to assist with the retention, expansion
or attraction of businesses in the unincorporated portion
of San Diego County by working in a coordinated effort with
County, State and Federal agencies. This office is staffed
with a County Ombudsperson who serves as the main contact,
facilitator, liaison and representative to and for businesses
inquiring about business permitting in San Diego County.

The North County Times publishes general
