About Us:

Our Beginnings
The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) of North San Diego County opened on July 6, 1999. The Center is hosted by MiraCosta College and funded in part by the U.S Small Business Administration, and MiraCosta College. Our service area covers all of San Diego County north of Interstate 8.

Our Mission
The SBDC is dedicated to increasing the economic vitality
of the community by helping small businesses and entrepreneurs build a foundation for SUCCESS! Our Center staff and consultants are here to assist in answering your business questions along with providing many resources that can help you start and/or expand your business.

Our consulting services are provided at NO COST and a small fee is charged for most seminar and workshops.

Our Funding Sources
We encourage you to visit MiraCosta College and discover the many business and community resources they feature. You find those resources at MiraCosta College (www.miracosta.edu).

The SBDC is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration. All opinions, conclusions or recommendations expressed are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the SBA. Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance.
